But, I do know that she feels them, in the way she acts sometimes around others. It makes my heart hurt, knowing that she already recognizes this. David and I are always telling her how special she is and how beautiful she is. We are always trying to lift her up and make sure she is treated no different than any other child. We want to make sure to let her know that, yes.. God did make you a little bit differently. But, He made you beautiful just the way you are. You are special, there is no one like you sweetheart! I want her to embrace who she is, from the inside out. I want her to know that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, and it's just how God wanted her to be. I want her to be proud of herself, in a good way.
I recently made the above image in Photoshop and I just love it.
She does have a super spine, just look at that big super girl *S* :)
Kaitlyn did start with a S shaped curve.
I want to put this image on a T Shirt for her and be proud of herself.
Call it a little self esteem builder!!
I know she'll love it. She loves playing super hero's with her big brother!
I will post a image of her in it, as soon as we get it made.
Just thought I would share!
Thank you for the continual prayers for our girl, she's doing well.
Facing this summer heat bravely and we're trying all we can to let her enjoy some water time. Tomorrow she turns 4! 4?! wow..
4 wonderful years with our girl :)
