Just a little update this morning on Kaitlyn.
It's been two weeks today, since baby girls decompression surgery.
It doesn't seem that long already, time has just flown on by.
It's been a rough two weeks for Kaitlyn, as any surgery takes time to get over and your body to heal.
She has done really well these past two weeks, it took her no time at all to get back to her normal self.
She's been walking and running, and even trying to climb on everthing (which is NOT allowed).
She still has to take it easy on some things for the next couple of weeks, no excessive running or climbing..
no wrestling with big brothers.
Of course she has been in complete protest of this!
We really haven't gotten over the shock of all this, do you ever really get over it??
We are just ready to wind down this weekend, and enjoy family time.
Kaitlyn got her stiches removed on Teusday, she did fantastic..no fighting from her!
They came out easily and the Dr. said that her insicion is healing nicely.
She can now swim and take full baths ( YAE! ) :)
She's still my happy baby girl, so full of life and spunk!
She goes back for a check-up with the Neurosurgen on June 21st, and then shortly
after, we should be heading to Chicago for her 2nd cast FINALLY!
Until then, she faithfully wears her little brace.
Thank you again for all your prayers over our daughter, we're still praising God for
His Miracle preformed on our little girl!! PTL :)
Please continue to pray for Kaity, she still needs each and every one of them.
Thank you! Rachel
